1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating a Famenda account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Famenda.

2. What Famenda provides

Famenda is an organization and scheduling tool for family life. It helps you capture information about your children, turn it into structured schedule items with AI assistance and your review, set reminders, and share a limited schedule view with people you choose.

3. Accounts and family access

You are responsible for your account credentials and for the secure share links you create for other people. Each family uses one Famenda login and one family subscription; external caregivers, teachers and other people use secure share links rather than separate app accounts. Revoke share links when access is no longer appropriate.

4. Parent and guardian responsibility

Famenda is operated by adults on behalf of their family. You confirm that you are an adult who is authorized to manage information about the children in your family workspace, and that you have the right to enter and share that information.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you put into Famenda. You grant Famenda the permissions needed to store, process and display that content in order to operate the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

6. AI-assisted extraction and review

AI suggestions are drafts, not decisions. Famenda does not guarantee that extracted information is complete or error-free, and nothing enters your schedule until you review and approve it. Always check important dates, times, amounts and details against the original source.

7. Child and family information

Information about children should be limited to what is needed for family logistics. Do not use Famenda to store sensitive records that go beyond organizing day-to-day family life.

8. Reminders and notifications

Reminders are a convenience feature. Delivery depends on scheduling, network conditions and, for email, on external providers. Famenda does not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered at an exact moment, and reminders should not be relied on as the only safeguard for a critical obligation.

9. Secure sharing

When you create a share link, you decide who receives it and what it contains. You are responsible for choosing appropriate recipients and an appropriate scope, and for revoking a link when it is no longer needed.

10. Payments feature boundary

Payment items in Famenda are tracking and reminder records only. Famenda does not collect, transfer or process the underlying payment to a school, activity provider, clinic or any other third party, and it does not verify that a payment was made.

11. Health and medical boundary

Famenda does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. It does not replace schools, doctors, therapists, other professionals or emergency services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

12. Acceptable use

• Do not use Famenda unlawfully or to store unlawful content
• Do not attempt to access another family's data or bypass access controls
• Do not disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service
• Do not upload content you have no right to share

13. Availability and changes

Famenda may update, improve, add, change, or retire features over time. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security work, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Famenda at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or where these Terms are breached.

15. Paid plans and billing

Famenda offers a Free plan and paid Plus plans. Free includes the full non-AI feature set and 25 lifetime AI Capture credits per family. Famenda Plus may be purchased monthly or annually and includes 100 AI Capture credits in each monthly quota window. Extra AI packs may be purchased separately as one-time credit packs.

Paid billing is processed through Famenda's payment provider. Prices, billing cycles, renewal terms, cancellation options, and refund information are shown before purchase and in the subscription management experience where applicable.

16. Disclaimers

Famenda is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it organizes will be accurate or complete.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Famenda is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for missed events, appointments, deadlines or payments. You remain responsible for reviewing important dates and details.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the revision date at the top of this page.
